Privacy Policy

Turtle Toss is made by Yolk Labs, Inc. (“Yolk Labs”, “we”). This policy explains what the app does with information. The short version: Turtle Toss does not collect, transmit or sell personal information, and there is no account to create.

What stays on your device

Everything the game remembers is stored locally on your device:

• Your progress — best distance, stars earned and coins, saved in a file in the app’s own storage.
• Your settings — the music and sound-effect toggles.

None of it is sent to us. Deleting the app removes it. We have no server that stores your game data and no way to see it.

Game Center

Turtle Toss uses Apple’s Game Center for leaderboards and achievements. Signing in is optional and the game is fully playable without it. If you are signed in, the app sends your run distance, total distance and star count to Game Center so they can appear on the leaderboards, and reports which achievements you have earned.

Game Center is operated by Apple, not by us. Your Game Center nickname and profile are governed by Apple’s Privacy Policy, and you can manage or disable Game Center in your device settings.

Multiplayer races

If you start a race, Apple’s Game Center matchmaking connects you with other players. During a race the app exchanges only what the race needs: the level being played and each player’s current distance and coin count. Your Game Center display name is visible to the other players in that race, as it is in any Game Center match. Nothing from a race is stored after it ends, and none of it reaches us.

What we do not do

• No analytics or usage tracking.
• No advertising and no advertising identifiers.
• No third-party trackers or software development kits that collect data.
• No location, contacts, photos, microphone or camera access.
• No selling or sharing of personal information, because none is collected.

If we ever add advertising to keep the game free, we will update this policy and the app’s App Store privacy disclosure before that version ships, and describe exactly what the advertising provider receives.

Children

Turtle Toss is suitable for all ages. Because the app collects no personal information from anyone, it collects none from children. We do not knowingly gather data from children under 13, and there is nothing in the app that asks for it.

Your rights

Since we hold no personal information about you, there is nothing for us to export, correct or delete. Game data lives on your device and is yours to remove at any time by deleting the app. For anything held by Game Center, contact Apple.

Changes

If this policy changes we will post the new version here and update the date above. Material changes will also be reflected in the App Store privacy details before the affected version is released.
